Frequently Asked Questions:

01

What makes ZRB Counts different?

The difference between ZRB Counts and other bookkeeping/accounting firms out there is that we dive into the business and operations. We help create process flows to streamline operations, go over financial reports in a detailed manner, and job cost projects so owners know how much they are making or losing per project. We even assist in human resources and provide administrative duties.

03

Can't I just do my own books?

Absolutely! However, we don’t recommend it. Is bookkeeping in your zone of genius? Is it your heart’s desire?  If you answer anything but YES to both of those questions, then you should hire a bookkeeper.

02

How much does all of this cost?

Every business is unique. Our customized pricing reflects this. Consider these questions to determine project scope:

  • Is this a one-time cleanup project or ongoing?

  • What time frame do you need the work completed?

  • How much work needs to be done?

  • Does your office resemble the lair of the Tasmanian Devil? Or would Martha Stewart approve?

04

Can I just have my assistant do my books?

It’s great to have a staff member who is familiar with your business. We recommend setting up a time to do a quick review. Oftentimes, staff will complete the data entry portion but don’t know what to do beyond that. This results in inaccurate financial statements and tax filings. It is very important to have accurate books that reflect the ins and outs of your business. Well-trained bookkeepers can help you with this.
